According to court records viewed by PEOPLE, Jelly Roll filed for divorce in Tennessee on May 18 after nearly 10 years of marriage.
The couple's marriage began in 2016, when Jelly Roll asked Bunnie Xo to marry him while on stage in Las Vegas. That same night, unbeknownst to friends and family, the couple spontaneously wed in a courthouse wedding.
In addition to becoming Jelly Roll's wife, Bunnie Xo also became a stepmom to the country music singer's daughter, Bailee, and son, Noah. The former couple did not welcome any children together.
While talking to PEOPLE in November 2024, Jelly Roll called Bunnie Xo "the person you show up to when the chips are down." To stay close while touring, the former couple said they never went two weeks without seeing each other.

While guest appearing on the comedy podcast King and the Sting and the Wing Clips, Jelly Roll revealed that he and Bunnie Xo talked backstage, but she was in a relationship at the time. The pair kept in touch via mutual friends, and when Bunnie Xo became single not long after, their friendship quickly turned romantic.
"They split, and I'm not going to act like I shot my shot. She kind of shot hers," Jelly Roll told the audio show's hosts.
When Jelly Roll learned of Bunnie Xo's breakup and that she was interested in him, he told her of his upcoming plans to drive to Las Vegas and shoot music video content. According to the "Save Me" singer, Bunnie Xo offered to let him crash at her place, and the rest is history.
"It's a white trash love story," Jelly Roll joked, explaining that he was "broke" and living in his van at the time. "When I hugged her, I could just feel the genuineness of her. I could tell it wasn't an act."

After a year of dating in 2016, Jelly Roll proposed to Bunnie Xo while onstage at a Yelawolf and Deftones concert in Las Vegas.

The lovebirds decided to elope right then and there, getting married at a courthouse nearby.
"We got married kind of randomly," Jelly Roll shared on the King and the Sting and the Wing Clips podcast. "It was Vegas, right? So it's like 11 o'clock. They're closing the joint down by Hard Rock [Cafe] and I'm like, 'F--- it. Let's just go now.' She's like, 'The courthouse is open for about 34 to 44 more minutes.' I was like, 'Let's f---ing roll.' "

On Aug. 31, 2023, Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo renewed their wedding vows at the Las Vegas chapel where they tied the knot in 2016.
The podcaster shared a video of the ceremony on Instagram, which showed the couple smiling and kissing at the alter. Bunnie Xo wore a form-fitting white gown, while Jelly Roll chose a black and maroon suit.
"Lucky #7 🎰 Luckiest girl alive. Tonite was such a dream✨," she captioned the post.

When Bunnie Xo married Jelly Roll in 2016, she also became a stepmother to the country music singer's daughter from a previous relationship. Jelly Roll also has a son, Noah.
On an episode of the Dumb Blonde podcast, Bunnie Xo opened up about her relationship with her stepdaughter and Bailee's biological mother, Felicia. Bunnie Xo also revealed how she helped Jelly Roll get custody of Bailee in 2017.
Jelly Roll has been outspoken on social media about Bunnie Xo's involvement in his daughter's life. In a May 2020 Facebook post, he wrote of Bunnie Xo and Bailee's "beautiful mother-daughter bond," noting that "it takes a special kind of woman to raise a kid that isn't her child and still treat the child as if she was."

When Bunnie Xo made a cameo in Jelly Roll and Machine Gun Kelly's music video for "Lonely Road," the couple drew from real-life circumstances and portrayed a couple struggling with infertility.

TMZ was the first to report that Jelly Roll had filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo in Tennessee on May 18.
Hours before the news broke, Bunnie Xo shared a series of cryptic posts on her Instagram Stories, including a photo of herself in lingerie.
Over the photo, she wrote, "She's getting her sparkle back ✨."
