Season 3 of America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders saw six new rookies' dreams come true.
Much like its first two installments, season 3 of the Netflix docuseries introduced viewers to a new group of hopeful DCC squad members when it premiered on June 16. In episode 2, DCC director Kelli Finglass said that it was "very competitive" this year and that the "odds of making it are a lower selection ratio than an Ivy League school application."
However, in reality, those auditions took place nearly one year earlier. Back in July 2025, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders announced their 2025 roster in an Instagram post, revealing that six rookies have made the team, including fan-favorite Jenna Waller, who was the last to be cut in season 2 of the show.
DCC squad member Charly Barby commented, "OUR TEAM 🥹🩷 6 perfect hardworking amazing & dedicated DCC ROOKIES!!!!!! So incredibly deserving. What an amazing summer & an even better season to start!!!!"
From new faces to one "comeback girl," here are the six rookies who made the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders 2025 team.

Waller, an Oklahoma University graduate and former OU Pom squad member, was the final woman cut during training camp on America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders season 2. During her heartbreaking exit, Finglass told Waller that she "peaked at the right time for a strong impression for the next time," but that it was "a little too late for the decision at hand for this season."
The San Diego native returned for another chance in 2025, made it to training camp and ultimately secured a spot on the squad. Waller celebrated the news on her Instagram Stories, writing, "Still in absolute shock!!!"
Barby also celebrated the news by posting a TikTok video that read, "You look happier ... Thanks my comeback girl made the team," before Waller joined her on-screen for a hug.
Barby captioned the post, "LAST CUTS -> COMEBACK GIRLS!!!! Forever so proud of you."
In season 3 of the Netflix docuseries, Waller expressed gratitude for having not made the team the previous year, saying, "I grew as a person, as a dancer, just in so many ways that I would not have had happen if I didn't experience that first cut."
"It changed me for sure," she said.

In March 2025, she shared a carousel of Instagram photos from the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Prep Intensive, captioned, "What an amazing + inspiring weekend in Dallas ⭐️💙."
Fast forward to July, Unger made the squad and announced the news in a heartfelt message on her Instagram Stories.
"I am so honored to say that I'm officially a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader," she wrote. "I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for all of the support I've received along the way, and am so blessed to be chosen to present this incredible organization."
While making decisions for the 2025-26 team, Finglass noted that Unger has "gorgeous" eyes, adding, "Big features, good in uniform."

Before making the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Kilpatrick was part of the pom team at the University of Texas. She graduated in May 2023, according to her Instagram.
Kilpatrick, who is from College Station, Texas, wasn't new to the navy-and-white uniform as she was formerly part of the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue, the NFL team's co-ed dance crew and drumline, per her Instagram bio.
During the show, Finglass called Kilpatrick "chatty" and "smart," adding that she went to "nerd camp" at Duke University. She was a personal favorite of Trammell, who was "hardheaded" about wanting her, according to Finglass.
After the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders shared the photo of the new rookie class in 2025, Kilpatrick commented on the post, "THE MOST AMAZING SURPRISE!!!🤩🤩🤩."
One NFL season later, Kilpatrick shared an Instagram video following the final performance of her rookie season and wrote that she was "overwhelmed with pride and joy in awe of my own journey."

Faith Ward, who is from Wellington, New Zealand, made her DCC debut as part of the 2025 rookie class. She was previously a dancer on Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas, she shared on Instagram in October 2023.
In season 3 of America's Sweethearts, Ward shared that she never thought being a DCC member was an "option" for her as an Australian, until she received a direct message from DCC lead recruiter Shelly Roper-McCaslin encouraging her to audition.
Throughout training camp, Faith impressed the judges with her confidence and unique style.
"Every judge has a favorite, and Faith was one of our favorites online, for sure, and then increasingly became a favorite to Charlotte [Jones] once she got to training camp," Finglass said in a season 3 confessional. "She understands the big picture, the talent that we need and also some of the other things that could be either media-based, role model-based or brand ambassadors and protectors of the brand."
After making the squad in July 2025, Ward shared a TikTok video holding up her new uniform, writing, "Officially the 1st New Zealand & 3rd Australian to make DCC 😭."
"So incredibly honoured 😭🩷🇦🇺🇳🇿," she captioned the post.
Ward then re-posted the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders' photo of her holding the uniform onto her Instagram Stories, writing, "will never recover from this moment."

"The best weekend at the @dccheerleaders Prep Intensive❤️," she captioned the post. "So grateful for this experience! Feeling so inspired."
During the training camp process, the official Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Instagram account shared a photo of her during uniform tailoring. She re-posted the photo to her own Instagram Stories, writing, "This day was a dream."
While evaluating rookie candidates in the show, Finglass said Perschy was the "same way" as Unger, referring to her uniform look.
Following the season, Perschy gave her "rookie sisters" a shout-out in a May 2026 Instagram post.
"Our paths crossed exactly when they were meant to, and I couldn't be more grateful to have you all in my life," she wrote. "You have been the biggest blessings and best friends I could've asked for! I'll never fully be able to put into words what this year has meant to me, but I know I'll carry it with me forever!"
