Tom Holland has confirmed he and Zendaya secretly got married.

The Spider-Man star revealed the news while addressing AI-generated wedding photos of the couple in an Esquire UK interview.

The confirmation comes three months after Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, said the couple had tied the knot.

It's true: Tom Holland and Zendaya are married.

After months of speculation, Holland confirmed the news in an interview with Esquire UK while addressing the viral AI-generated wedding photos of the couple. The Spider-Man star shared that his grandmother saw the fake photos and thought she wasn't invited. The reporter then asked if he had to have similar conversations with other family members.

"No, because they were all there." Holland said. "That's all you'll get on that."

The actor did not offer any more details, but did open up about their relationship and being "the happiest I have ever been" with her.

"Our business can present very stressful situations and it's really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time," Holland told the outlet. "We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it's like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don't understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else."He added, "So, for me, I found my person. She's my best friend, and I'm the happiest I have ever been when I'm with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period."

The very private couple, whose engagement was confirmed in January 2025, were believed to have secretly tied the knot after Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, said in an interview at the Actor Awards on March 1, "The wedding has already happened. You missed it!"

The Challengers actress seemingly confirmed the news by wearing a new gold band alongside her usual engagement ring at the event, which was formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Days later, Zendaya's mother, Claire Stoermer, shared the interview footage in a post to her Instagram Story, with a message: "The laugh...." Stoermer pointedly neither confirmed nor denied the claim.

Then the new gold band made an appearance in recently released promotional photos for Zendaya's upcoming film, The Drama. On March 5, A24 shared a new video and photos of Zendaya with costar Robert Pattinson, in which the actress has on her engagement ring rather than the jewelry her character, Emma Harwood, wears in other promotional materials for the romantic drama. Underneath it is the plain band.

On March 10, Zendaya attended the Louis Vuitton show during Paris Fashion Week alongside Roach, wearing the gold band on her left hand again as she posed for photos outside the show held at the city's iconic Louvre Museum. Her diamond engagement ring was absent from the double-ring stack on her ring finger, while the rest of her jewelry — other rings and earrings included — was silver and appeared to match, a notable contrast to the plain gold band.

As for her outfit, the ambassador for the historic fashion house wore a tailored, shirt-style white gown from the brand featuring a high, pointed collar and a short train. The dress' bubble hem cut away at the front into a minidress revealing her pointed black pumps, and the actress also cinched in her waist with a black leather belt.

Without speaking a single word, the Emmy-winning actress seemingly used her style and accessories to confirm that she and Holland have indeed privately tied the knot.

Zendaya and Holland met while making Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, in which he played the superhero and she portrayed MJ. They've since reunited on the silver screen for Spider-Man: Far from Home in 2019 and 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home.

They've kept their relationship private for the most part, which both have said is important to them.

"Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible," Holland told The Hollywood Reporter in June 2023. "We don't think that we owe it to anyone, it's our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers."

But they've spoken about one another while promoting their projects.

Holland, for instance, revealed to Men's Healthin January 2025 the thoughtful reason he doesn't always walk the red carpet with Zendaya at her premieres.

"Because it's not my moment, it's her moment," Holland said, "and if we go together, it's about us."

Zendaya has raved about Holland while speaking about her two Dune movies.

"I think someone who has beautiful charisma, not on the Dune cast, but personally [it] works for me, is Mr. Tom Holland," Zendaya said, after she was asked which of her costars had the most rizz. "I'm more shy and kind of quiet, so it takes a little bit more to pull me out of my shell. But he's great at just talking to people and getting to know people."

Both actors will appear in director Christopher Nolan's upcoming film The Odyssey, which arrives in theaters July 17. Their next Marvel movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, is out July 31.
