One TikTok user is proving that showing up really does matter.

Mattie Westbrouck, known on TikTok as @westbrouck, posted a video cheering on their sister at a Boise State football game, and it’s now gone viral, racking up over 14.5 million views.

In the video, Westbrouck, 25, rocks a Boise State crewneck and holds a poster with their sister’s face front and center. When their sister sees them, she is excited and jumps up-and-down waving. At the end of the video, Westbrouck also snaps a cute selfie video with their sister.

"PROOF showing up matters at EVERY age," Mattie wrote on the post.

They also added, "even though this was my last time watching you cheer doesn’t mean i’m ever going to stop cheering you on @hannie šŸ’ŒšŸ§øšŸ’šŸŖ© im so proud of you kid. šŸ’™"

The heartfelt clip has struck a chord online, showing that sometimes the simplest gestures — a sign, a cheer, showing up — can mean the most.

"We love showing up for our friends and family. It truly means so much," one user commented on the post.
