Just hours ago, we learned the happy news that Aubrey Plaza is pregnant with her first child. And now, the first photos of her growing baby bump have been released.

The actor was spotted out in New York City today, walking her dog while in casual athleisure. Facing the chilly weather, she wore a navy coat, which she layered over a maroon button-up collared sweater. The comfy top was baggy on the actor, and she paired it with light gray sweatpants and brown New Balance sneakers worn with long white socks. She was fresh faced, and completed her off-duty look with black square sunglasses.

The last time we saw her, during Paris Fashion Week in March, she stepped out in a series of loose-fitting designer looks that expertly hid her baby bump.

Plaza is expecting her baby with boyfriend Christopher Abbott—a fellow actor whom she was worked with both on the screen and on the theater stage over the years. The baby is due this fall, a source told People. “It was a beautiful surprise after an emotional year,” the insider said, adding that the couple feels “very blessed.”

Plaza and Abbott starred together in the 2020 film Black Bear and the 2023–2024 two-person off-Broadway play Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, where they bonded and formed a close friendship. Their relationship seemingly turned romantic this summer, when they were spotted on several dates.
