Sydney Sweeney on Working With Amanda Seyfried in The Housemaid
The Housemaid is a psychological thriller film helmed by Bridesmaids and 2016 Ghostbustersdirector Paul Feig, which depicts the story of a young woman named Millie Calloway (Sweeney) who has a troubled past. She then enters as a live-in maid for a wealthy couple. Little did she know that the wife, Nina Winchester (Seyfried), has sinister secrets.
Set to officially hit theaters on Dec. 19, Seyfried and Sweeney are joined by Brandon Sklenar, who will play Seyfried's husband Andrew Winchester, as well as Italian actor Michele Morrone and child star Indiana Elle.
Filming the movie, the Anyone But You star expressed her delight working alongside her co-star off and on camera.
“It's so much fun. It's been such a delight being able to just even promote it with Amanda,” she told Extra TV, adding “We have such a great time together, and being able to share this love for this film with all of the book lovers and people who are excited to see this has been just incredibly unique, and I'm really excited for people to see it."
In a previous interview with Variety, she mentioned how their working relationship has blossomed into a sister-like bond, describing her co-star as her “bestest friend ever.”
