If you’re like us, your social media feeds are full of users waxing nostalgic about their 20s.

It's called the "In Your 20s" challenge, and it calls on TikTok creators and Instagram users to complete the phrase, "In your 20s, there will be [insert goal / happening / opportunity here], and it's very important that you do it," while classic songs from musical greats like Billy Joel and Fleetwood Mac play in the background.

The posts range from sweet ("In your 20s, you’ll meet a random girl at uni and click, it’s very important that you see that friendship through"), to inspirational ("In your 20s, there will be a time when someone will tell you that you can’t do something. It’s really important that you do it anyway," to just plain fun ("In your 20s there will be a photobooth you pass by with your friends. It is very important you stop and take photos").

Perhaps the best contribution to the trend, though, comes from none other than Shania Twain, one of the greatest icons the ’90s country music scene has gifted us.

Taking to Instagram, the queen of country music, now 60, shared a reel featuring footage of herself in interviews, music videos, and onstage, with "In your 20s, a man will ask you if you're impressed. It's very important you reply that don't impress me much," written over it.

"And I never will be impressed," she captioned the post.

We call that a mic drop.

You don't have to be a country fan to know and love the anthem she references. "That Don't Impress Me Much,” one of the hit singles off her 1998 album, Come On Over, achieved crossover success back in the day, with the bop peaking at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100.

With sassy lyrics including, “So you’re Brad Pitt. That don’t impress me much,” and “OK, so what do you think, you're Elvis or something?” it’s pretty easy to see why it was such a hit. And still is.

Today, the Queen of Me artist continues to hit the high notes and tick off bucket-list items. In addition to wrapping a Vegas residency and summer tour this year, she’s been making guest appearances across the country and starring in an Uber Australia ad campaign.

Consider us impressed.
