In the latest episode of his podcast, "On Air With Ryan Seacrest," the host revealed the red flags he watches out for in a relationship
Ryan Seacrest may be one of Hollywood's most recognizable bachelors, but the veteran TV and radio host isn't leaving romance entirely up to chance. The 51-year-old recently opened up about the surprisingly specific dating red flags he watches for in potential partners.
The longtime broadcaster has been linked to several high-profile women over the years, including dancer and television personality Julianne Hough, chef Shayna Taylor, and model Aubrey Paige.
In the latest episode of his podcast, "On Air With Ryan Seacrest," he revealed what puts him off in a relationship. "When you're out on a run or a walk or a bike ride, do you say hi to people that pass?" he said, reiterating his appreciation for politeness. "If you don't, I'm not so sure about you. And if someone says 'good morning' to you on the path and you don't respond, that is a red flag." This comes after Seacrest confessed that he was 'so lonely' on Wheel of Fortune.

Ryan Seacrest and chef Shayna Taylor dated on and off for seven years before ending their romantic relationship in June 2020.
In 2020, the television host mentioned his then-girlfriend Taylor on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
"I just want to say, happy third anniversary to Shayna," he said. "It is our third time together. So we've gotten together, broken up, gotten together, broken up. This is number three of being together. So we're celebrating as well."

Ryan Seacrest and Shana Wall dated from 2003 to 2005. The pair rekindled their friendship in 2016.
Seacrest shared another dating red flag on his podcast: if he can't share his favorite morning ritual with his partner.
"I really look forward to getting up and having my coffee," he said. "I think if we can't share that moment together, it's a red flag. So, 'I need coffee' is a green flag. Don't have a lot, and please don't put milk and stuff in it."

Ryan Seacrest was in a relationship with actress Julianne Hough for three years, from 2010 to 2013.
Hough has candidly revealed why the relationship ended. She said she was in her early 20s at the time, felt insecure about how her newfound success was perceived, and chose to prioritize building her career independently.

Shayna Taylor and Ryan Seacrest met through mutual friends and began dating, but they split for the first time in 2014.
When they had their final breakup in 2020, a spokesman for Seacrest said, "Ryan and Shayna decided to end their romantic relationship amicably some time ago...they remain good friends, each other's biggest supporters, and will always cherish their time together as a couple."

Ryan Seacrest and model Aubrey Paige started dating in 2021 and made their red carpet debut in June 2022 at the premiere of the Jennifer Lopez documentary Halftime.
They kept their romance largely private but did make several appearances together at red-carpet events.

Though Shana Wall and Ryan Seacrest split, they maintained a friendly relationship through the years.
On his podcast, Seacrest mentioned another requirement to date him: "Can get ready in less than 27 minutes. 'Cause not 30. It's not 25. 27. Green flag. If you're over an hour, and I have been there over an hour. What are you doing?"
"How many poses can you make in the mirror for 90-plus minutes?" he quipped. "What are you doing? Like, I have to go back to work. You missed your window. Time's up. We missed our window to do anything."

Reports at the time of Julianne Hough and Ryan Seacrest's breakup also noted that their incredibly hectic, fast-paced work and travel schedules contributed significantly to the split.
On Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast, Hough also shared that she felt insecure and worried that people might think she was using Seacrest just for his connections.

Ryan Seacrest and former Miss Teen USA Hilary Cruz had a brief, low-key romance in 2015.
The duo met at Seacrest's 40th birthday bash in Napa Valley and were seen on several dates shortly after. However, the relationship was relatively short-lived.

In 2022, a source exclusively spilled details about Seacrest and Paige's relationship to US Weekly.
"Ryan is increasingly confident he and Aubrey have what it takes for the long term," the source said.
"He's trying not to get too far ahead of himself, it's still relatively early days after all, but the fact he was willing to go, red carpet official was a big step," they added.
"At some point in the not-too-distant future, he wants to settle down and start a family," the insider said at the time. "He wouldn't be dating anyone who didn't have that long-term potential."

Shayna Taylor recalled meeting Seacrest in an interview with Good Housekeeping. As it turns out, it happened at a Los Angeles restaurant back in 2013.
"I guess he really wanted to talk to me, and one of his friends he was sitting with happened to know someone in my group, so they were texting to see if I came with anyone in the group, because he was trying to figure out if I was with a guy," Taylor said.
She added that she didn't think that Seacrest was interested in her until her friend told her via a note on her phone: "Ryan likes you"
