Rod Stewart spotted at Scotland World Cup game day after canceling concert

Rod Stewart is made an appearance at Scotland's first match of the FIFA 2026 World Cup.
In Scotland's opening game against Haiti in Boston on June 13, Stewart was repeatedly shown in the crowd. Stewart was born in London, but his father his Scottish and he's a well-known supporter of the soccer team.

In a video he posted to Facebook, he said it was his seventh World Cup he's attending. Captioning it, in part, with the Scottish rallying cry "No Scotland, no party."
Stewart, 81, canceled a show in California on Friday, June 12 for medical reasons. He made a post to his Instagram Stories that he had traveled to the venue, but he had " acute upper respiratory infection that resulted in laryngitis" and doctors advised him to cancel. He said it would do hit "utmost" to reschedule and that he was "very disappointed" and "sincerely apologized" to fans for inconvenience.
