‘Predator’ Trailer Reveals ‘The Office’ Alum Creed Bratton’s Role

A24’s upcoming film Primetime may be all about Chris Hansen‘s (Robert Pattinson) quest for TV success with To Catch a Predator, but the film’s new trailer has revealed that a comedy TV icon is part of the cast: Creed Bratton.

Bratton is best known for playing Creed on NBC‘s former comedy The Office, as well as for his music career, but the actor is taking on a more dramatic spin for this latest project where he features opposite Pattinson.

Set in 2006, the movie tracks the rise of Hansen’s television program, which revolved around catching child predators in the act as they attempt to meet up with underage targets, not knowing authorities are on the other side of the computer screen.

Bratton is nearly unrecognizable as he sits alongside Pattinson’s version of Hansen aboard what appears to be a plane. His character says, “Don’t you ever just wanna bleed ’em?”

“Maybe what I do is a little worse,” Hansen responds, hinting at the public exposure predators received through the hidden camera sting operations at the center of To Catch a Predator.

In addition to Bratton, the trailer unveils additional cast members, including Merritt Wever, Skyler Gisondo, Phoebe Bridgers, Bokeem Woodbine, and more.

As fans of The Office will remember, Bratton played a role in the show from the beginning and appeared across all nine seasons airing on NBC between 2005 and 2013, coinciding with the run of To Catch a Predator on the same network via Dateline NBC.
