The *Buffy the Vampire Slayer** *actor, who died in March at the age of 54, allegedly left a handwritten last will and testament detailing what to do with his estate, according to court documents filed on Monday and reviewed by PEOPLE.

"My Will," Brendon apparently wrote on a lined piece of paper: "Sarah gets nothing. Kel gets everything. He can figure it out." Sarah Marker is the actor's ex-girlfriend, while Kel refers to his twin brother, Kelton Schultz. Details regarding the late actor's assets were reportedly not in the will.

Brendon's parents, Robert and Kathleen Schultz, were also mentioned in the documents, according to PEOPLE.

Brendon's brother previously petitioned to be named the representative for the late actor's estate. A hearing regarding the matter is scheduled for July 16.

What 'Buffy' star Nicholas Brendon said his health conditions before his death

Brendon's family announced his death on social media on March 20. He was found dead by a friend who was helping care for him. The actor was discovered “positioned as if asleep," and “evidence indicated the time of death was very recent," per the Putnam County coroner's office.

"We are heartbroken to share the passing of our brother and son, Nicholas Brendon. He passed in his sleep of natural causes," the actor's family wrote.

"Most people know Nicky for his work as an actor and for the characters he brought to life over the years. In recent years Nicky has found his passion in painting and art. Nicky loved to share his enthusiastic talent with his family, friends and fans," the family's statement continued.

Elsewhere in the statement, the family commended the late actor for being "passionate, sensitive, and endlessly driven to create."

"Those who truly knew him understood that his art was one of the purest reflections of who he was," they said.

On May 5, Brendon's cause of death was revealed to be atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease, with acute pneumonia and previous myocardial infarction (also known as a heart attack) listed as contributing factors. Atherosclerosis occurs when blood vessels carrying "oxygen and nutrients from the heart to the rest of the body become thick and stiff," according to the Mayo Clinic.

In the years before his death, Brendon was open about his health struggles, including suffering a heart attack and undergoing two spinal surgeries.
