Miles Teller tugged at his wife Keleigh Teller’s heartstrings with his special Christmas gift for her.

“Miles had my wedding dress that burned in the fire remade,” Keleigh, 33, shared via TikTok on Saturday, December 27, referring to the California wildfires that destroyed the couple’s home and belongings in January. “So happy … Merry Christmas everyone!”

In the accompanying video, Keleigh—wearing Christmas pajamas and a Santa hat—opened a large gift box as Miles, 38, filmed her. After she pulled out a garment bag, she looked at the actor in shock.

“Is this my wedding dress?” she asked, to which he responded, “Yeah.”

Keleigh continued to express her surprise, saying, “Oh, my God,” as she unzipped the garment bag and took out the dress, immediately bursting into tears when she saw the recreated gown.

After looking over the entire dress, Keleigh sat down on the floor, overwhelmed with emotions.

Miles and Keleigh tied the knot in Maui in September 2019. The bride wore a custom Monique Lhuillier gown for their wedding.

“I wanted to keep it elegant and classic since our ceremony was in a church, but I also wanted there to be a light feel to the dress,” Keleigh told Vogue at the time before describing the process of creating the dress with the designer brand. “They really guided me through my vision. … We started with a pretty simple dress that I redesigned a bit to get the perfect timeless feel.”

In January, Miles and Keleigh lost their Pacific Palisades home in the California wildfires. At the time, Keleigh expressed her regret over not taking her wedding dress with her when the pair evacuated.

“To everyone reaching out I can’t thank you enough, your kind hearts have meant the world, I’ll never forget them,” she wrote via Instagram. “Community has come out stronger than I could imagine, Pacific Palisades I love you beyond measure you are a little slice of heaven, we will come back stronger than ever. If you’re in LA area PLEASE get out if you can. I wish I grabbed my wedding dress … wish I did a lot different but it doesn’t matter, stay safe, get out. There are no words. THANK YOU to the first responders fighting.”

In September, Keleigh reflected on the couple’s difficult year while celebrating their sixth wedding anniversary.

“This year showed us what we’re made of, started out with a painful goodbye to our pop, immediately into running from fire as we watched our home and everything we’ve created burn to the ground, and then into a robbery that is a story for another day,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Today I know we can face anything, dance through every lightning strike and find home in each other when we’re homesick for a place that no longer exists. Home isn’t four walls, it truly is two eyes and a heartbeat.”

She continued: “We are beyond grateful to every family member or friend we’ve made over the last 12 years of being together, to everyone that offered shelter physically or emotionally you have no idea how a message or helping hand got us through and we will never forget. So here’s to year seven my love, I LOVE YOU may it be better than we can imagine! (knocks on wood).”
