The report came just weeks after the monarch reunited with his youngest son, the Duke of Sussex, his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, at Highgrove House in the UK. Now, according to the new report, the King has been facing an explosive warning from a columnist over this alleged massive request plan by Prince Harry.

Columnist warns King Charles against accepting Prince Harry’s Invictus Games invitation

A columnist has reportedly warned King Charles against accepting his youngest son, Prince Harry‘s, invitation to the 2027 Invictus Games. As reported by the Daily Mail, Amanda Platell, a columnist for the news outlet, warned the monarch, saying, “To do so would be a grave mistake indeed and a decision that your loyal subjects may never forgive.”

In the meantime, per the news outlet, insiders told them that Prince Harry feels “hopeful” about his father accepting his invitation to the 2027 Invictus Games. A source further claimed that the Duke of Sussex “would love the King’s support.”

However, according to the columnist, “The brutal truth is that the British public” would simply feel “appalled.” Amanda Platell further explained, “It would feel like a betrayal for the millions of loyal monarchists like me who stood by the King.”
