Ilona Maher is clapping back at a hateful message she received on a recent set of social media photos.
In a new Instagram video, the Olympic athlete directly addressed a comment from someone claiming "she look[ed] pregnant" in a mini-dress that she recently wore to a red carpet event. Maher, 29, didn't mince words while replying to the message in a video posted on Saturday, Jan. 10.

In response to the harsh comment—which was sent from someone going by the name Aaron—Maher sarcastically said, "Hey Aaron. Thank you so so much for this comment. It was so fun to read."
She went on to defend herself and her body by explaining, "That's actually just a woman's body. You probably haven't seen a woman naked recently—or maybe even ever—but thank you for really taking the time to type that out."
"I wish you all the best," she further quipped in the clip.

In her caption, Maher added, "Preciate you, Aaron. Good luck dealing with my fans."
Just as she predicted, tons of Maher's fans jumped to her defense with messages like "Today Aaron learned about the existence of the uterus," and "It’s called a strong core💪🏻🫶🏻."
"No one bodyshames MOTHER" someone else chimed in.
Many other users commended Maher's playful yet effective way of handling the situation, with one of her followers saying they had "no notes" on her perfect response.

"You're iconic," one user added to the rugby player, while others further cheered on Maher with messages like "Hell to the yeah" and "We don't deserve you."
"Girl, you look beautiful in that dress love those legs love those shoulders, beautiful face F those people who wanna hate 🔥" another fan wrote to Maher.
