Welcome back, Below Deck Down Under fans! Last week, the cast of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City threw the crew into an early tailspin. Not helping, Daisy’s already lost Joe, and Alesia and Ben’s communication styles are failing, but that’s okay, because this week, their guests can’t even take a break from fighting long enough to enjoy their efforts. Here’s what went down in BDDU Season 4 Episode 2.
What happened in Below Deck Down Under Season 4 Episode 2?
Ben’s doing his best to temper his reactions, but not his sarcasm. Between the growing tensions in his galley, an anchor issue, constant bickering from their guests, an injury, an anchor issue, and a budding crush onboard, Episode 2 was all over the map.

As Mike vacuums up broken glass, their guests mention “disengaging,” yet they don’t. In the galley, Ben asks Alesia for “a little ramekin of butter.” She takes a beat too long, also looking for a spoon. “Didn’t ask for a spoon, did I, love?” Ben quips as Alesia’s face falls.
“When I f*ck with you, it’s actually a sign of endearment, alright?” Ben says. He then takes a beat and tells her that she’s “fine.” Hey, he’s trying.
However, their guests aren’t trying anything but each other. As their voices rise, the crew does their best to clear their dishes. Captain Jason was supposed to join them for dessert. But now, NOPE.
Ben needs to know if they at least enjoyed their dinner. When Daisy admits that she can’t get a word out of them, he heads upstairs. Ben quickly realizes that it’s indeed a lost cause and retreats.

Eddy’s “got a great body,” Alesia realizes. In his cabin, Eddy giggles. “She looked at me,” he says.
Britani asks Captain Jason to show her the wheelhouse, so she can “get out of here.” But “Heather’s the primary.” So he’s “not flirting with anybody but her.”
Everyone heads to bed. Bronwyn sleeps on a deckchair. In the morning, Betul and Eddy quietly clean around her.
Ben decides “to teach” Alesia. Outside, João does the same with Betul. Their anchor’s chain is jammed. But as they work to release it, the same problem keeps happening.
Finally, 52 minutes later, all is well. But not in the galley. After arguing about shallots versus onions, Alesia admits that Ben’s mood swings suck.
The yacht anchors for a beach picnic, but since they’re running behind, the crew has to head to the beach with the guests. They set everything up as the RHOSLC ladies wait. “It’s like being in bed with your hot hookup and slipping out a fart,” Daisy suggests.
Betul and Eddy smartly distract their guests with massages and liquor. Even still, the ladies start fighting … again.

Alesia’s “unraveling,” she admits to her mother. Her mother encourages her to keep her chin up.
Back at the beach, Eddy silences the ladies with snorkeling masks. His dad passed away when he was little. But he knows he would be so happy with the life that Eddy’s built.
Heather asks to move their lunch indoors. Sighing, Daisy and Jenna pivot. On deck, Betul opens up, noting that in her family’s Muslim religion, male-dominated careers are not on the table. But “if you want something, you have to fight for it,” and that’s exactly what Betul did.
Heather changes her mind. Only four of them will eat in the saloon. The rest can eat in their cabins, because she needs a break. The crew pivots yet again.
Daisy wants everything plated due to these changes. But Ben thinks family-style looks better, so he silently “goes against” her wishes. “The f*cking guests are chaotic, now Ben’s chaotic, give me a f*cking break,” Daisy says.
At least Eddy’s still being adorable. “I swam with a turtle,” he proudly tells Alesia. Eddy fanices her, he admits.
Mike used to be a stripper. So tonight, Lisa wants him to twerk on Heather during their zombie-themed dinner. Mike’s all in.
Angie and Bronwyn emerge wearing inflatable sea creature costumes, but a door closes on Angie’s hand, causing a lot of blood to spill out. Captain Jason cleans her up.

The ladies sit for dinner. Mary’s glass is dirty. Mike fixes that while lying to Daisy, saying it was clean. After 2.1 seconds of peace, chaos returns, but it’s like “white noise” to Daisy now, so it’s fine.
In the galley, Alesia messes up the desserts. As Ben reveals, this was a test, and Alesia failed. They bash each other in their confessionals.
Captain Jason joins the ladies for dessert. Even still, they argue. As they try to get his opinions, Daisy gives him an excuse to leave. He thanks her in a joint confessional.
Mike, Eddy, and João arrive to dance with their single guests. They love it, and everyone goes to bed. In the morning, Ben tells Alesia that Eddy is “definitely flirting” with her. She’s a fan of this statement, but her muffins still “look like sh*t,” Ben adds, throwing them away.
Daisy and Mike overhear. This might be “a long season,” they note. They’re right. In Alesia’s confessional, she suggests that Ben “go f*ck himself.”
The camera pans, showing makeup, blood, and self-tanner stains everywhere on the yacht. And then we see Alesia in her cabin, phoning Season 3’s Brianna Duffield to vent. Alesia wants to quit. She heads to the wheelhouse, alerting Captain Jason to the same, as the words TO BE CONTINUED appear.
Below Deck Down Under continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
