Adrianne Curry is reacting to Tyra Banks' decision to sue Netflix for defamation.

Hours after the America's Next Top Model host, 52, filed a lawsuit against the streaming service, claiming that the portrayal of her reality show in Reality Check: Inside America's Next Top Model was defamatory and edited to support a false narrative, the winner of the show's inaugural season shared her thoughts.

"I read that Tyra Banks is suing Netflix because she didn't like being edited," Curry, 43, said on Instagram, using air quotes around the word "edited."

"Bitch, for real girl?" she continued with a laugh before adding in the caption, "Welcome to the party, pal."

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Banks is asking for a jury trial to determine the "appropriate" amount she should receive in damages after alleging that the docuseries manufactured drama and constructed narratives through selective editing and deliberate omission.

"Tyra Banks participated in the Netflix documentary series America's Next Top Model (ANTM) because she believed viewers deserved a candid conversation about the show's legacy — its successes and its shortcomings," the lawsuit begins. "There are aspects of the show for which Ms. Banks takes accountability, and she wanted ANTM viewers to hear that from her directly."

The lawsuit goes on to claim that the interviews used in the docuseries were "stripped of context and reassembled to support a false and defamatory narrative unrelated to what she actually expressed."

While Curry declined to participate in the docuseries, the former model did previously express that she had "mad respect" for Banks. She also commended Banks for "not apologizing" for any of the controversies surrounding the reality series.

"She is not sorry. She is not apologizing to you. That bitch is not effing sorry," Curry said on Instagram in February. "She will not bend the knee. And I respect that. You want her to lie? Lie and say how bad she feels?"

"Everyone's coming to me like, 'None of the judges are sorry.' Why should they be?" she continued. "They're all loaded ... but mad respect for Tyra because that's hard to push back on that many people trying to struggle session you. She's just like, 'F--- you, I do what I want.' And I gotta respect that."
