Amazon Prime Video has become the go-to spot for seeing your favorite swoon-worthy romance novels come to life.

From *The Summer I Turned Pretty** *to *Red, White & Royal Blue* and *Maxton Hall,* the streamer has carved out a nice little niche for itself when it comes to taking fan-favorite love stories and giving them a series order, or even turning them into feature films.

Based on the novel of the same name by Carley Fortune, *Every Year After* is a nostalgic tale set across multiple decades, centering on two lifelong friends who turn into lovers.

The series features Sadie Soverall and Matt Cornett as the leads, while *Happy Endings* star Elisha Cuthbert appears as a recurring character.

Amy B. Harris, who serves as the showrunner, can already see a bright future for the show, as she told EW.

"I see five seasons," she explained. “Obviously, there's another book that's connected to Barry's Bay that I think will be a very exciting blueprint for us for a potential season 2."

For her part, Fortune told PEOPLE that she loves the Prime Video adaptation of her book.

“I think it does exactly what an adaptation of a book that has a fan base should do,” Fortune said*, *“which is that it honors the story. It has the heart and soul of the book. It feels like the book.”

Your Fault: London

*Your Fault: London *is the sequel to 2025’s *My Fault: London*, which itself was a remake of the Spanish movie *My Fault,* an adaptation of the novel *Culpa mía* by Mercedes Ron. Did you follow all that?

The sequel adapts the second book of Ron’s *Culpables* trilogy, *Culpa tuya,* and follows the forbidden romance between teenager Noah and her stepbrother, Nick. After the events of the first film, the couple faces new challenges as Nick becomes busy with his career and Noah heads to Oxford.

Both Asha Banks and Matthew Broome return to star as Noah and Nick, respectively.

Perfectos Mentirosos

Wattpad novel *Perfectos Mentirosos* is getting the cinematic treatment. Written by Alex Mírez, the story centers on Jude Derry, who arrives at the prestigious Tagus University with a mission: infiltrate the group of boys who had a hand in her brother’s death.

Starring Irene Balmes, Gleb Abrosimov, Pau Simon, and Pablo Scapigliati, the film has yet to announce an official release date. However, first look photos were posted to Instagram in early May via the official Prime Video Latino account, along with the message that the movie is "coming soon."

Red, White & Royal Wedding

Author Casey McQuiston’s beloved novel *Red, White & Royal Blue *was adapted into a hit film starring Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez in 2023. The plot follows the love affair between a British prince and the son of the President of the United States.

Fans of the movie will be celebrating again soon, as it’s been confirmed that it is getting a sequel, titled *Red, White & Royal Wedding**. *Perez and Galitzine will be back as Alex Claremont-Diaz and Prince Henry, respectively, while Uma Thurman returns as Alex’s mother, President Ellen Claremont.

While no release date has been set, filming wrapped at the start of this year, suggesting it could receive a late 2026 or early 2027 release.

Drawn Together

An adaptation of another popular Spanish novel by Mercedes Ron, *Drawn Together* turns the first installment of her *Enfrentados *duology into a movie.

It centers on the daughter of a wealthy Spanish tycoon who is kidnapped and mysteriously released. When her father hires a young bodyguard to protect her, the disparate personalities can’t help but find themselves, well, drawn to each other.

Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García play the romantic leads. Prime Video recently shared new images from the film and said it will premiere in September.

The Love Hypothesis

*The Love Hypothesis* adapts Ali Hazelwood’s novel of the same name into a romantic comedy starring *Riverdale*’s Lili Reinhart, along with Tom Bateman, Rachel Marsh, and Jaboukie Young-White.

The plot centers on biology Ph.D. student Olive (Reinhart) and grumpy professor Dr. Carlsen (Bateman), who start a fake relationship after she kisses him in order to convince her friend that she’s moved on from her ex. However, their phony relationship ends up turning into something more.

This brief summary makes the story sound fairly innocuous, but it should be noted that *The Love Hypothesis* actually originated as "Reylo" fan fiction published online — and what's more, Bateman is married to Rey actress Daisy Ridley.

While no release date has been announced as of yet, Prime Video states that the film is "forthcoming."

Boys of Tommen

Author Chloe Walsh's best-selling series is coming to Prime Video with a season order.

The Ireland-set show will focus on the plots of the first two novels, *Binding 13* and *Keeping 13, *and the forbidden romance between star rugby player Johnny Kavanaugh and shy new girl Shannon Lynch, who both attend the prestigious private school Tommen College.

Nancy Surridge is set to portray Shannon, while Conor Sánchez will play Johnny. *Boys of Tommen* will be adapted by writer Poppy Cogan, who also created *A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder* for Netflix. A release date is still in the works, though *Deadline* reported that filming begins sometime in 2026.

Maxton Hall — The World Between Us season 3

*Maxton Hall* returns to Amazon Prime for a third and final season. Thus far, the show has followed the first two novels of Mona Kasten’s *Maxton Hall *series, with the upcoming episodes adapting the third installment, *Save Us.*

The German show follows Ruby Bell, a talented working-class student heading to Oxford with a scholarship. However, when she arrives, she immediately clashes with snobbish, privileged James Beaufort. Of course, Ruby inevitably finds herself falling for him.

Damian Hardung and Harriet Herbig-Matten will return to reprise their roles as James and Ruby, respectively. A release date has yet to be announced, although filming wrapped in December of last year, suggesting it could premiere in late 2026.

Off Campus season 2

The first season of Prime Video's adaptation of Elle Kennedy's *Off Campus *books took viewers by storm when it dropped last month, and it received the green light for season 2 three months before it even premiered.

Season 1 revolves around star hockey player Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli) and music student Hannah Wells (Ella Bright), both attending the fictional Briar University. The two start a fake romance so that Hannah can get the attention of her crush, while she agrees to tutor Garrett in philosophy. Obviously, they fall for each other instead.

Season 2 comes with an asterisk, however: The story will no longer be focusing on Hannah and Garrett, but instead on Dean (Stephen Kalyn) and Allie (Mika Abdalla). Garrett and Hannah will stick around, but they’ll no longer be the primary focus.

The new season is already in production and slated to end in early fall. An early 2027 release seems most likely.

The Last Sunrise

*The Last Sunrise*, an adaptation of *After* author Anna Todd's best-selling novel, has yet to receive a release date, but it’s reportedly already looking to move forward with a sequel, per *Deadline*.

The trade noted that “sources stressed that there’s no guarantee the studio will greenlight a sequel.” However, they were “told the intention is to make a series of three films, with all key creatives returning.”

The first movie is expected to debut on streaming in August.

It stars Maia Reficco, Fernando Lindez, and Eva Longoria. The plot follows 22-year-old Oriah “Ry” Pera (Reficco), whose life is turned upside down during a summer in Majorca, where she falls for a local named Julián (Lindez).

Fans have been so eager for the cinematic return of their favorite *Summer I Turned Pretty* characters that Amazon Prime had to issue a statement warning people to keep away from the set.

Unfortunately, *The Summer I Turned Pretty’*s rabid stans are going to have to sit and wait for the continuation of Belly (Lola Tung) and Conrad’s (Christopher Briney) story. Speaking with EW back in September 2025, series creator Jenny Han revealed that the movie will take a look at “the one 'big milestone' left in Belly's journey after getting back together with Conrad.”

"As I was thinking about the third season, I really felt that the journey was so much about Belly's coming of age and in order to fully tell that story, we need to get to her reunion with Conrad," Han explained. "And then it would've been like a quick tacked-on beat at the end to get to any of the stuff in the epilogue in the book. And I just really wanted to give its due. And we had also been through a whole season of Belly and Jeremiah's [Gavin Casalegno] wedding and I wanted to have space for whatever the next step is."

In an interview with *TODAY*, Han confirmed the movie won't arrive in 2026, so a 2027 release might more realistic.
